Gears and Splines

We now have the equipment to design and manufacture internal and external splines, straight bevel gears, racks and all similar items. We can’t do those bevel gears, helical gears and any of the high precision hardened and ground gears as that requires some very specialised and expensive equipment, but our EDM wire cut unit can cut straight gears, internal bores and keyways from pre hardened steel and we can machine other sizes and types on our CNC machines. The accuracy achievable with the EDM wire cut is equal to any CNC machine as it will cut to within 5 micron or lower accuracy and very high quality surface finish.
