As of 1st January 2021, Perrott Engineering will be split into its two natural divisions (Hydraulic Services and Precision Machining). Relocating the Precision Machining division, to new premises located in the Edmonton Industrial Estate. Whilst the Hydraulic Sales & Service Workshop will remain in Kenny Street.
The precision machining and manufacturing division will be located at 3 Macbar Court, Edmonton Industrial Estate. The move will give both divisions the room for further expansion, allowing the machining business to grow into a very competitive manufacturing shop for specialist components.
Very little disruption to our services is expected and have set aside a week or so in December when the CNC, EDM wire cutter and some smaller specialised machines are being relocated to the new site. During this time Perrott Engineering had minimal disruptions to the CNC operations and the manual machines in the hydraulic workshop were unaffected by the relocation of the machines.
This change has been brought on by the continued growth of the business and further investment in advanced CNC multi-function machinery. This latest asset represents an investment of over $1m and will arrive from Okuma in Japan in February. It is the most advanced CNC machine in the north by far and one of the most highly spec’d machines of its type in Australia. It will give us full 5 axis continuous machining capability and will allow Perrott Engineering to be competitive with any manufacturer in Australia.
